Summer and Will's first day of kindergarten

Wow! We have had quite the summer. I would like to say that we were so busy that I just haven't had enough time to blog. Not true. I am just a lazy blogger. Maybe I'll get better, but I doubt it because I am due any day now. Baby number four. How does time fly by so fast?
John and I have been married for seven years and for half of that time I have been pregnant. And I am not so joyous to be around when I am expecting. Poor John. One day I will be nice all of the time.
Today we had a "nesting" day. In fact I have had a "nesting" day for the last four or five weekends. Lets see...clean this and clean that. I feel like a mother squirrel gathering her nuts for the winter. But on the good side our house is really clean - so no one mess it up. John keeps reassuring me that the baby will not care if the blinds are dirty. Thank you babe I know and thanks for helping me gather the nuts.
Anyways here is a few pictures and I mean a few...

Over the first weekend in August our family went on a family trip to Idaho for a reunion. Oh what fun that was! Serious, it was the highlight of our summer. Here is a picture of our family eating lunch in the middle of our hike. The hike was pretty much straight but a little long for the kids. It was about 4-5 miles. It was a bit much for the 8 month pregnant woman in the picture too. But, hey I made it and it was great. See the fashionable tan tights that I am sportin', yeah I have worn them everyday since the middle of April because I have bad circulation in my legs. Hopefully after I have the baby everything with my body will be normal again and I won't have to wear them. (Are you ever the same after having kids?)
Last weekend our family went to Cascade Springs to hike around. Here is Jason, Will and Emmie. They are the best kids in the whole world and I am so glad that they are mine. What do ya think - Will baby #4 look just like the rest of them? I'm bettin'.

This picture was actually taken the second day of kindergarten for Will. Emmie just couldn't stand all of the attention on Will so she had to jump in the picture for a funny face and then followed Jason. Jason is the biggest copy cat kid around. We love it and he is so funny.

Will is such a handsome kid. He loves kindergarten. I am so proud of him at he is so capable of going and doing the school thing. His favorite thing about it is recess. Who could blame him? Right? Will has 13 more years of school ahead of him. It is hard to imagine. But then, time flies by.

I love the update. I've been awaiting to hear what your family has been up to. I'm glad you had a good summer and I hope everything goes well with delivery and as you adjust to baby #4. I remember hiking Ensign Peak when I was 7 months pregnant but it definately wasn't no 4-5 miles. You go girl!!

I can't believe that Will is in Kindergarten!! How fun!!! He is getting so big! And I can't believe you are almost a mother of FOUR!! Holy Cow!!!

Love the tights look....just think, you don't have to worry about tan legs or shaving! :)

Good Luck with the new baby, and don't forget to post pictures on your blog before he turns one! haha!

Wow time goes by fast!! I still remember going to lunch with you just after Will was born. Well you have always been very active so it really doesn't surprise that you hiked that much. I hope you had a happy birthday! Good luck with baby #4, and make sure to post lots of photos.

Dan would say the same thing to me about why I try to clean something that he doesn't think actually needs cleaning. ;) But if it makes the women folk feel better- I'd say clean away.

Congratulations on your first day of school Will. It looks like you had fun.

And some fun family hiking too.

Cute cute kids--Will looks so pleased to be going to school. Can't wait to see pictures of #4--maybe he'll have red hair like his mommy! Oh, and just so we don't stray too far from our baby-makin' pattern, why don't I have #4 shortly after you have #5! Sounds like a plan to me! ;)
