Happy Campers and Promises!

The past few weeks have been a little extra busy for me and as a result I have neglected my blog. Last week was Spring Break. Monday was 80 degrees with a light breeze, very beautiful day. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday was rainy and cold. Spring weather around here is crazy. On Friday I took the kids out to Willow Park during the day and John came later that night. We stayed with Papa and Nana (John's parents). It was fun, but just completely crazy with some ornery kids. Starting with Ryann and Emmie, they were fighting over everything - rocks, sticks, Jason (there was an episode when Emmie was in tears over Ryann pushing Jason in the baby swing), bikes, strollers, treats, you name it they fought over it. These two have a bad history together too. Emmie once almost cut off Ryann's finger which resulted in two surgeries, but for the most part they play good - except when we went camping to Willow Park. Good thing that we only had to drive to the other end of town. Madelyn and Will were wonderful. They rode their bikes all over and played at the playground together.
This is Ryann trying to smooth things over with Emmie, who of course is not giving in.

Will and Madds are the best of buds.

Emmie is showing Papa her PINK bandaid and Papa is emphasizing very good with her .
Two Saturdays ago John and I took the kids up to the Children's Museum at the Gateway in Salt Lake. It is a little pricey, but a lot of fun. I promised Will when he was in the hospital at the first of March that we would go to the Gateway if he got his IV. He did and we had to live up to our promise. We are just so blessed that Will is doing good and is healthy.

Will get so excited when hid dad can come with us on outings. It is so much more fun when Dad comes and easier.

This is Emmie playing at the beehive. You have to put balls inside pipes so that the beehive will always be working.

This is Jason sitting in a chair in the little people land. I can't remember what it is called put there is a whole city where every thing is little. Little houses, little construction site, a little grocery store, a little bird house, a little farm, ect. The kids love it. And again as the photographer there are not pictures of me.
FYI Jason and Will both got hair cuts. They still are cute as can be. Jason can almost roll over. He gets his hip over and he just is content not rolling his shoulder over. As my mom would say, "he's happy as a lark!"

That sounds like a fun children's museum. I didn't know there was one at the Gateway. Cool.
