Emmie is such a big helper with Jason. She loves to give hugs and kisses, tickle toes, and even lick Jason's head. We put Jason in her baby stroller and with mom very close by she pushed him across the kitchen floor. Emmie was on cloud nine thinking that she was in charge of her little brother for only a moment. And Jason didn't mind it either.

Easter fun!
Easter weekend was full of all kinds of little kid excitement. On Saturday me and the kids filled Easter eggs to take to Papa and Nanna's house for an egg hunt with the cousins; which they enjoyed. Emmie would find one egg and then have to stop to eat whatever was inside it. Will was excited to find a blue and pink jump rope. On Sunday we went to church. The program was excellent. It was a great boost for my testimony about the Savior and his redeeming power. Wow! Then on Easter night we went to G & G Gerber's house and enjoyed Easter dinner and a movie with the cousins.
Here are all of the Gerber cousins...Hannah, Will, Cole, Jason, Justin, Addie, and Emmie. This picture was taken at G & G Gerber's house on Easter. Before Easter dinner the kids got to fly kites outside - boy did they have fun.

Here is some pictures of the last week.
Emmie loves Jason. He is a great big sister. We do have to watch her because she'll try to sit on Jason when you are not looking or pinch his nose. But, most of the time she is really sweet with him.
Jason is 3 months old.

Will is doing well...
Will is doing well, we are now home. We got home on Monday afternoon. Will is on an antibiotic for the strep and he is also taking a few other medications. He needs breathing treatments every four to six hours as needed to control any asthma flare ups he might have. He is doing good. He just wants to play and feel good.
John had been super dad. He spent both nights at the hospital with Will. John has got up in the night to do his breathing treatments and when he has been home he has done all of the meds. I love you John. You are wonderful.
Emmie missed him, but they are quickly back to teasing each other.

Will in the hospital
Will has been in the hospital since early Saturday morning (like 2:00 am). Friday afternoon I took him to the doctor and they said that he had strep throat and prescribed an antibiotic for him. During the night he came into our room and he could not breath. I took him outside and he improved a little but not enough so we decided to take him to the ER. Haylie came over to our house to stay with Emmie and Jason.
When we got to the ER I told them (nurses and doctors) that Will was having an asthma attack. They said that he was not wheezing that he probably had the croup. Will could not breath hardly at all. His stomach was retracting under his ribs at least 2 inches, he started to involve his shoulders muscles to breath. It was really scary because he was using all of his energy just to breathe and he was tiring out.
He didn't really improve until we got set up in a peds room and by then the steroid kicked in and was helping with the inflammation in his wind pipe. By Saturday afternoon the retractions under his ribs stopped and he started to breathe easier with the help of some oxygen. We thought that we would be able to come home today but now he had some asthma kick up and his lungs now are swollen. He got an IV today because the steroid used to treat inflammation of the lungs is given through an IV.
Today the Respiratory therapist said that he was improving rapidly and that we should be able to come home on Monday. I guess we'll see what happens through the night. Will has just wanted his dad so John has been sleeping at the hospital at night and durning the day we have taken turns being with Will. Grandma Sing and Grandpa Scott has had Jason and Emmie all day.
Right now Will is on 2.5 liters of oxygen per minute and he needs to be at least on 0.25 to come home with oxygen on. He has come down from 3, so he is showing improvement.
Thanks to everyone who has helped and thank you for the prayers.
